Prototype Mobile Robot

Designed, fabercated and tested for the prototype:

Gyroscopic inertial guidance servo control and data interface electronics.

This included three phase gyro motor drive, exciter coil modulator, pickup coil demodulator, servo loop control electronics, acceleration to direction integrator and 12 bit A/D convertion circuits.

 
   

Clean Room Mobile Robot Full Scale Prototype

Designed and tested:

Ultrasonic obstical avoidance electronics. A multi-channel frequency selective system allowing multiple robots to operate in the same acoustic environment.

6800 CPU bd. interfacing to the VME bus

Analog and digital I/O bds. interfacing to the VME bus.

Servo motor control bds for robotic functions.
